The 'gir before you has multiple scrollcarriers hanging from each side, tied together with strong, sandcoloured strings and fastened with dark leather straps. As she moves they come together with clicking noises, but they do not hinder her movements as she picks a scroll from its container and hands it over to you.
The message is written in the script of 'gir first and in the three most common languages below:
I belong to a courier service that flies all across the world. Disease has hit the couriers hard and we need new members who are familiar with these lands.
Any 'gir who chooses to leave their gathering will find themselves part of the largest gathering they have ever known: all couriers will be their family and all members their friends.
You will undergo training and will thereafter get to fly in the areas they are familiar with. However you may choose to explore other countries across the globe and upon application you will be taught all the neccessary information to carry out your tasks in such areas. Trade routes, mathemathics, survival in specific habitats...
You will be given a mark to show that you are a trainee and upon completion of your training you will be given a chain to signify what you are a part of.
But you will have no permanent place of residence. We have small bases, camps, nests and holdings scattered across the globe for when you are on flights, but you will frequently be on the move to somewhere else.
I must be honest, it is unlikely that you will see your original gathering again. There is so much to do and so many places to explore. Very few do return to the gatherings and if so, they do not stay very long.
Once you have read the message she gestures to a gathering of 'gir a few metres away and points to the silver chain around her neck, featuring a carved, wooden wing with symbols resembling hearts. They all carry the same symbol.
What you need to know
- Only adults can be donated. There is no limit to how many 'gir you can donate.
- When you donate a 'gir you lose all rights to choose what becomes of the donated 'gir and you cannot get the 'gir back ever.
- Additionally 'gir that are donated in this manner are unlikely to be seen again and will have their images removed from the regular Pumdragir, Customs or Offspring folders!
- Some may appear In Character or on the website as guides, characters, etc., but this is not to be thought of as a guarantee! It would be wise to consider the donation "gone for good" for the purpose of making the decision on whether to donate it.
If you do decide you wish to donate a 'gir, all you have to do is e-mail praejacobi at hotmail.com with the form below. Just like when trading, you mustn't remove your 'gir before you have been given confirmation that the donation has been recorded.
