Swamp Pumdragir
Height: 140 cm. male, 140 cm. female
Average Weight: 150 kg. male, 150 kg. female
Population: 10 recorded in known locations, unknown amount in the wild
Clutch Size: 2 eggs
Locations: Originally found in tropical rainforests, occasional sightings in mangroves and marshes across the globe

Swamp 'gir are small and fast, but their build derives them of the strength inherent in other breeds. To make up for it there is little difference between the breed's two genders: both male and female are equally tall and weigh the same.

The breed further deviates from the norm in that a female only ever lays 2 eggs per clutch and produces less clutches on average than any other breed does. To make matters worse a great deal of the 'gir born are sterile, making 'gir capable of breeding harder to come by.

Even with the odds against them, Swamp 'gir are more abundant than the Regal. This is only because the breed considers its continued existence to be paramount however. As a whole Swamp 'gir rarely seek an opportunity to breed with non-Swamp 'gir. Love-pairings across breeds are not unheard of, but each Swamp 'gir - if not sterile - is expected to breed with Swamp 'gir first. A sentiment that not all members of the breed agree on.

Truebred 'gir are easy to recognize, if not hard to spot in the wild. Their colouration will only feature greys, browns, greens and yellows.

The breed comes from tropical rainforests, but thrive in mangroves and marshes if the area is suitably warm. They are extremely suspect to cold and their health rapidly deteriorates without ideal living conditions. The breed is by far the most fragile type of 'gir, but it is considered impolite to remind them of this.
