An unmistakeable scent of salt and seaweed greets every visitor to the beach. Birds, only visible as dark spots in the sky, dominate the sky and circle the area, while the ocean teems with fish of all colours. Scattered and only glimpsed in the distance are rocklike, lumpy shapes: the islands nearest to the mainland.
